They'll be using it to evaluate an ICT-based lesson plan. The assignment is due Tuesday and ~140 have submitted so far. It's time to develop the code that's going to help me analyse the student submissions....more...

The following is an attempt to think about the inter-connections between the paper "Open Educational Resources (OERs) for TPACK Development" presented by Mark Hofer and Judi Harris at SITE'2016 and the Moodle OpenBook project and my own teaching....more...

EDC3100 tries to get students engaged with writing their own blogs and following the blogs of others via a feed reader. Yes, just a bit old fashioned....more...

The following documents the (hopefully) last bit of extra work I have to undertake to prepare the digital "learning space" for EDC3100, ICT and Pedagogy. It's work that has taken most of my working day. At a time when I can't really afford it.Β  But it's time I have to spend if I want to engage effectively in one of the most fundamental activities in teaching - know thy student....more...
